The AN-MLO-9303A is an 0.3m diameter electro-statically shielded magnetic loop antenna used for shielding effectiveness measurements, emission measurements and other general purpose magnetic field measurements in the (9 KHz – 30 MHz) band. The antenna consists of a single turn of 14 AWG PVC coated wire along with a specially designed pre-amplifier at the antenna output. The active antenna provides a linear dynamic range of more 100 dB @ 100 KHz and 120 dB @ 10 MHz. A built in re-chargeable 9V battery, provides upto 5 hrs of continuous operation. The antenna base has a drilled / tapped hole for mounting on tripods with ¼” x 20 threads. An additional L adaptor permits mounting the loop in horizontal polarization. The electrostatic shield of the antenna is made of mild steel for durability and ruggedness.
